Breaking the Chain
As I continue with my own wellness transformation journey, I realize more each day how I have really become an empowered woman.
I am breaking the chain from my past health struggles and trauma associated with not only the care I received but of almost dying a few times because of it. Everyday used to be a challenge to not feel those past feelings of why that happened, instead, I learned to be intentionally aware of being an overcomer and focusing on the ways I can self-manage my life.
It is an incredible feeling to know I have HOPE and can handle anything like when the wave of health struggles and triggers come, and I know it will not knock me down anymore. I have been able to do this because I understand the feelings associated with those struggles and triggers and this process is what I share in my professional work. Knowing this has allowed me to stay aware of who I am especially as I change and become a stronger more confident woman.
As I continued to work in the traditional clinical world, I was able to understand how important it was to honor my own journey and share it with others. Everyone wants to know “how to get better”, but it’s not that simple and in this awareness, I realized I needed to find an alternative way to share all that I have learned with others, and I became an Integrative Wellness Practitioner.
The empathic and intuitive ability to help and inspire others by sharing my real authentic life journey, allows others to find their own strengths as they begin to understand themselves differently. Learning the same methods and tools I have used helps others to regain balance back into their life and this is something I am so incredibly excited to be a part of.
Facilitating workshops, classes and offering individual sessions, I share with others how I maneuvered around some of my own challenges with triggers and it has become such a valuable part of my work. Essentially what I found that didn’t work for me in the clinical world is how I know what does work especially as Functional Medicine is now a part of my daily health and wellness journey as I continue to pursue a certification in functional wellness coaching.
Understanding this transformation and sharing some of the tools for ‘peeling apart the onion’ of a trigger and how I use my ‘past and present bridge’ helps everyone understand for themselves that they can also make their own wellness transformation in any aspect of their life.
I have been led to share with others what helped guide me in “breaking the chain” of being held down by a system that has their own limitations but to understand how helping myself is a way of helping others.
I have learned to find my own wellness in a world that has us faced with a barrage of challenges, struggles and our perceived triggers. Everyone can benefit from understanding how “breaking the chain” of their own struggles can help them continue to have hope, wellness and healing.
